Hi, I'm Althea Fletcher, a passionate early childhood educator and founder of Althea's Daycare. My journey began years ago, driven by a deep love for children and a passion for their care. What truly sets Althea's Daycare apart is a deep belief in fostering both emotional intelligence and curiosity in every child. We design activities and environments that encourage children to explore their feelings, develop empathy, and ask questions, laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning and well-being.
Impactful projects and professional growth
One of my most impactful experiences was designing a literacy enrichment project for preschoolers. By integrating storytelling, interactive reading, and art activities, we saw a noticeable boost in the children's vocabulary and confidence. This project further fueled my passion for early literacy and reinforced my belief in the power of a strong educational foundation.
